PERSONAL BIODr. Heather Johnson grew up in Grand Forks. She loves the community and being close to her family and friends. Dr. Johnson is married to her husband Steve and they have four children - Emily, Ben, Tommy, & Nick– as well as two pups – Kevin & Snickers. The kiddos keep Dr. Johnson and Steve busy with hockey, soccer, and piano lessons! Dr. Johnson has many hobbies. She loves to go to the farmers market in the summertime and get fresh flowers. You might see her walking around Grand Forks to grab a cup of coffee at Bully Brew or getting a bite to eat with Steve at Bernie's. Dr. Johnson is a Vikings and Chiefs fan, and her husband Steve roots for the Bears. Dr. Johnson loves yoga and trying new recipes. In the summertime, Medora, ND and the North Shore in MN are two spots Dr. J and Steve regularly visit, both are considered her happy place! education

Meet Dr. SovakDr. Kayla Sovak is a North Dakota native who grew up in Minot. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from the University of North Dakota. Dr. Sovak attended Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Glendale, Arizona where she graduated with her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree.
Dr. Sovak believes in a comprehensive approach to dental health. She can help you from any starting point to get to optimal dental health. Dr. Sovak wants you to understand and be actively involved in your dental plan. |
PERSONAL BIODr. Sovak is married to her husband, Christian. They have a son, Jackson, and two dogs, Luna and Willow. During the summers they enjoy being outdoors playing yard games, sitting by the campfire, or fishing on Lake Sakakawea. In the winters they are avid Fighting Hawks fans and attend many of the hockey games. Dr. Sovak enjoys baking, yoga, and reading. She loves making lefse around the holidays for her friends and family EDUCATION
