Dr. Johnson grew up in Grand Forks and has a lot of happy childhood memories because of the Grand Forks community. She loved to ice skate with the Grand Forks Park Board. Even today, you will still find her at an ice rink, only now she is cheering on her husband or daughter Emily at their hockey games.

As an adult, Dr. Heather Johnson wants to give back to the Greater Grand Forks community. She understands that teaching kids about taking care of their teeth is an important part of their overall health.

Our goal is for every patient who walks into 1101 Dental to have a comfortable and pleasant experience, including kids. You can be confident that our kid-friendly amenities will help your child relax and have fun while receiving dental care!​

We have overhead screens in every exam room. We’ll be sure to put a movie on if your child has a long visit. We also offer weighted stuffed animals, neck pillows, and more from our 1101 Dental Comfort Menu! They love getting a gold coin to celebrate their bravery in the chair, and enjoy putting it in our bright red toy tower.
